I think I know what I'm doing

I went to a midwifery conference this week, hence no posts of late, and I still think this just might be what I want to do when I grow up. To be honest I didn't really want to go, 8 hours of lecture is not what I'd consider a good day.

I've been feeling a little unsettled about it lately, not really doing my school work, etc.
I hate writing- to qualify that-I hate writing what someone tells me to write. It's that authority bucking sassy pants in me I guess. However, I'm glad to have come away with a renewed zest for it, not so much the writing projects, but zest nonetheless .

The point of all of this nonsense-

We're going on a trip to Flaming Gorge, we'll be river rafting and hiking and stuff. Did I mention that there will be a lady who is 8 months pregnant in the group?

I feel totally confident that I could catch that baby if need be. I have no idea what to do after that, but I've got the catching part down. Lets hope I don't need to use my newly acquired skills- 'cause really they're still untested as of now.
