the wide wide world web

When I really stop to think about it, it almost seems silly to me, narcissistic even, that as I write about my life, my little world here, that anyone would even care to read. Who besides me silently giggles when Girl Child declares she has "outgrown mcdonalds", and who cares that sometimes I worry about strange things, or is singing praises that she's finally having a happy year at school? It's not like I'm doing the world a favor by writing our tales, and spilling my guts to strangers, so to speak.

Then I realized that I have friends whose blogs I read, and I care. and I'm not the only one either. Somehow we form these bonds and friendships, while sharing our tales- even the ones from the dark side- without actually meeting each other.

And you know what else
- I look forward to my 'me time' when I can catch up on what's going on in the lives of the people whose blogs I read. So thank you for caring about my junk, and thanks for letting me read your too.

  2. Yeah, I care. When will my brood ever outgrow McD's?

  3. I know exactly what you mean. The time I spend with blog friends means a lot to me, and I really value the friendships.

    =)

PS. And my gang covers ages 28 to 35 and still hasn't outgrown McDonald's.

  5. I blog stalk you and love to hear your personality in your posts! I like the little things that the Girl Child does and says. I have to blog stalk you since I don't get to see you in church that often because of our different callings.

  7. I love that cartoon where the husband is trying to take away the wife's computer and she says,"You can't take it away, all my friends are in there!"

    Maybe it's funnier with pictures.

    You know what I mean.

Moving 40 minutes away from McDonald's helps you outgrow it every single time. Amen.

  8. I love reading everyone's blog and I'll tell you: yours is one of my favorites. So honest and so funny. You have become a friend to me and I'm so looking forward to seeing you in April. FYI: I'll be there the evening of Friday the 1st and coming home Tuesday the 5th. Can you fit me in somewhere?
