I love the "Rosie-esque" pictures from the 40's. She makes me think I can do anything. Today I have a lot of anythings to do cause I'm up to my EARS in tasty, juicy, fresh off of our tree PEACHES!
While I'm so excited about what this means-gingerbread cake, peaches for breakfast lunch and dinner, peach ice cream, peach smoothies, peach everything- I'm also slightly dreading what this means-lots and lots of washing, peeling, blanching, etc.
So today truly is LABOR day in our family, lucky for us it smells so good and snack breaks are frequent. Music and some kitchen dancing are in store too.
