I just heard my first Christmas song of the season, normally this would make me giddy with thoughts of stockings and decorating, staying up all night making and wrapping gifts, but today it did not elicit those feelings.
Why? Oh I'll tell you why.
Because there are still 16 more days to Thanksgiving, one of the best holidays of the year. Let's not forget thanksgiving people. I know I know Christmas is exciting, I can hardly stand it myself, but part of the excitement is the anticipation, so let me have my 2.5 more weeks of anticipating the Christmas season without it being thrust into my radio!
